The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Islamabad came into being in April 2011 by the Ministry of Education to impart educational services at numerous stages in ICT. Later on it attached with the Department of Capital Administration and Development Division (CA&DD) and further modified into Ministry of Capital Administration and Development from May 2012.
